Ashraf Hall
Ashraf Hall is one of the very beautiful monuments from the Safavi era which was built by Shah Abbas II and is famous for Shah Soleiman coronation ceremony in 1677. The main part of this hall has a curved ceiling, 11 meters high with gold decorations and azure colored plasters which are unique as compared to all Safavi era erections. It seems that this splendid building was used as the private royal resting place of Safavi kings. Nowadays, this hall is used for international and ceremonial gatherings in Esfahan.
